After a briefing from your guide, you will travel by snowmobile over groomed slopes of ice and snow, frozen lakes and through the snow-covered forests of Lapland. Two people share a snowmobile. About halfway through the journey, you will enjoy a hearty lunch by the campfire.

On this tour you have time to explore the beautiful Råne river valley on many different trails and reach particularly beautiful viewpoints. There are photo stops along the way and the guide tells you lots of interesting things about the nature and the landscape you are in. Lunch is traditionally served around the campfire.

Snowmobile tour in search of the Northern Lights
Snowmobiling in the dark offers an extra dose of adventure. The stars shine above you and the snow in front of you glitters in the light of the headlights. With the snowmobile you have the opportunity to reach particularly suitable places for observing the Northern Lights. If you're lucky, you'll see a show you'll never forget.

Important information about the snowmobile tours:

The snowmobile tours are carried out by one of our partners - Aurora Safaris or Sörbyn Lodge. The transfer to the starting point of the tours is not included (approx. 7 km). If you would like a transfer there and back, this is possible for a total of EUR 50,-.

If a snowmobile you are driving is damaged there is a self-risk/excess fee of up to 20 000 SEK including VAT which will be required to be paid on site.

To drive a snowmobile, you must be 16 years of age and have a valid driver’s licence (A class Car driving license required,

alternatively an ”EU-card”) and be alcohol-free at the time of the activity. Remember that the alcohol limit when driving in Sweden is 0,2 and at many activity providers it is 0.

Children need to be at least 10 to sit on the snowmobile as a passenger. Under 10 years old they will sit in a sled behind the snowmobile.
