In summer and autumn, there are wonderful opportunities to enjoy nature through hiking, canoeing, or fishing. There are a variety of destinations that are easily accessible by your own car or a rental vehicle, such as the impressive rapids “Storforsen” and the historic church town “Gammelstad” with its open-air museum “Hägnan”.

In summer, the numerous lakes, rivers, and the Baltic Sea invite you to go swimming. In September, the landscape transforms into a sea of colors, and there’s even a chance to see the Northern Lights – with the unique opportunity to photograph their spectacular reflection in the water.
