Recharge your batteries - in the rhythm of nature

November in the far north is a very fascinating time. Everything calms down, the days get shorter and the clocks seem to tick a little slower. Fantastic lighting makes the landscape seem like a fairytale land in some places. The first bitter cold temperatures freeze the waters and create small pieces of art made of ice on trees and bushes. At this time you can often even hear the ice when it is forming on the lakes and rivers. Feel the power of nature with all your senses - an indescribable feeling!

Itinerary of the November Special

Day 1 - Welcome to Swedish Lapland

 

Arrival on your own. We are happy to organize a rental car or a transfer for you from the airport in Luleå or from the train station in Boden. The cozy "Villa Winterdog" awaits you in the middle of the beautiful nature of northern Sweden.

 

Day 2 - Lappish specialties and northern lights photo workshop

 

Enjoy a delicious 2-course meal with Lappish specialties in the cozy atmosphere of our Kåta. The fire crackles in the middle of the room and spreads a cozy warmth. You will receive some information and tips on "photographing the northern lights". Afterwards, you will go on foot or on snowshoes through the forest to or on the river, where you have an uninterrupted view of the sky. If you're lucky and the aurora appears, you can put what you've learned into practice straight away.

 

Day 3 - Husky (snowshoe) hike

 

Experience a special kind of dog walk! You will receive a belly-belt with a friendly husky attached to it. If you like to be active in nature, this is exactly the right tour for you. There will be a break along the way with "Swedish fika" - sweet pastries and coffee/tea. Duration: approx. 2.5 hours

 

Day 4 - Husky training tour

 

Come with us on an exciting tour with our friendly huskies. Depending on how much snow there already is, you will either go on a ride through the forest in the training cart or the sleigh. Experience the joy and strength of the sporty four-legged friends who are in their element here. Afterwards, warm yourself by the fire in the kåta with a light lunch. Duration: approx. 3.5 hours ​​​

 

5th - 7th day ​​ Time to relax

 

Time - a luxury that is often lacking in everyday life. Enjoy cozy hours in the holiday home, in the sauna and on walks in the beautiful landscape. If you wish, we will be happy to organize other activities for you. ​

 

Day 8 - Goodbye ​

 

Well rested, you say goodbye to your new two- and four-legged friends.

Included services:

  • 7 nights in a holiday home with private sauna inlc. bedlinen, towels and final cleaning

  • 1 x hike with huskies

  • 1 x dinner in the Kota with Northern Lights photo workshop

  • 1 x husky training tour with cart or sled

  • Experienced German-speaking guides during the excursions

  • Warm clothing (parka, trousers, boots, gloves) for the duration of the stay
